Disappointment When Everything Is Canceled

Seeing our kids being so disappointed with some of their favourite things being cancelled can be hard to watch.  We can understand how hard this is for them as we feel it as well. As parents we want to rescue our kids from these tricky or uncomfortable feelings. Sometimes we don't know what to say or do so we avoid or rationalize what is happening.
